Terms of Service

By creating an account or using eHissab ("the Service," "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use eHissab.

These Terms apply to all users of eHissab, including individual subscribers, businesses, and payment aggregators. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

To use eHissab, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorised access to your account
• Notify us immediately at support@ehissab.com if you suspect any breach of security
• Not share your account credentials with others

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. eHissab reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at its discretion.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction to use eHissab.

Subscription plans: eHissab offers multiple subscription plans (Starter, Growth, Business, and Enterprise). Features and pricing are described on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance in Omani Rial (OMR). By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge you on a recurring basis.

Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice before increasing subscription prices for existing customers.

Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. After 30 days, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies in your jurisdiction beyond what is already included in the displayed price.

Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you. After 10 days of failed payment, your account may be suspended.

You agree to use eHissab only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the platform to issue fraudulent or fictitious invoices
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from eHissab
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, including Omani commercial and tax law
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt the Service
• Use automated bots or scripts to access eHissab without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the platform to store or transmit harassing, defamatory, or illegal content
• Resell access to eHissab without an authorised reseller agreement

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

eHissab's property: The eHissab platform, including its software, design, logos, trademarks, and content, is owned by eHissab and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

Your data: You retain full ownership of all data you enter into eHissab — invoices, client records, financial data, and business information. You grant eHissab a limited licence to process and store this data solely to provide the Service.

Feedback: If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions about eHissab, we may use them to improve the product without obligation to compensate you.

Your use of eHissab is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You are responsible for ensuring that any personal data you enter about your clients and employees is collected and shared in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

eHissab will process your data as a data processor acting on your instructions. We will not access your business data except to provide the Service, resolve support issues, or as required by law.

eHissab aims for 99.9% uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Scheduled maintenance: We will provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.

Unplanned outages: In the event of unexpected outages, we will communicate status and estimated recovery time via our status page.

No liability for downtime: eHissab is not liable for any losses, damages, or costs resulting from service unavailability, except as explicitly stated in an Enterprise SLA agreement.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

No consequential damages: eHissab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Liability cap: Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of eHissab shall not exceed the amount you paid to eHissab in the 12 months preceding the claim.

No warranty: The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or meet your specific requirements.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

By eHissab: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you: - Violate these Terms of Service - Fail to pay subscription fees after the grace period - Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity through the platform

Effect of termination: Upon termination, your access to the Service will end. You may export your data up to 90 days after cancellation. After 90 days, your data will be permanently deleted, subject to legal retention requirements.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of eHissab shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Muscat, Oman.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send an email notification to account holders at least 14 days before changes take effect
• Display an in-app banner highlighting key changes

If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using eHissab and cancel your subscription before the effective date of the changes.
